FUNCTION MAGAZINE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES 2009

Please read carefully:

ALL work must be submitted on a CD or DVD with your full name, program and year on it . 

To be considered for publication in the magazine submit your work on or before February 6th 

2009. To be considered for publication on the DVD submit your work on or before February 

27th 2009. The drop off box, marked “function submissions”, is located in the IMA office. 

Include a .doc file on the CD/DVD with the following information: full name, year of study, 

program, email address & website address. If you would like to include an artist statement (it is OPTIONAL), please include it with this document as well.

Images 

1. All images must be CMYK 

2. Include both hi-resolution and low-resolution versions of ALL your images. 

3. Hi resolution images must be in TIFF format, 300dpi. 

Name the hi-res files: lastname_hires_titleofthephotograph.tif 

ex. sherman_hires_untitledfilmstillfive.tif 

4. Low-res images can be JPEG or TIFF format, 72dpi. 

Name the low-res files: lastname_lowres_titleofthephotograph.jpg 

ex. sherman_lowres_untitledfilmstillfive .jpg 

Text 

All text documents must be in .doc format. 

Videos + Music 

1. ALL videos must be H.264 Quicktime files submitted as DATA either on a DVD or a data 

disc. 

2. Music files must be in .aiff .mp3 or .wav format.
