ZINE #2 Submissions!

Function Magazine is putting together another zine for the second semester, and we're looking for your work! The zines are essentially miniature versions of the year end publication. This is a great opportunity to get your work out there and participate in Function!

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: JANUARY 12, 2009

The zine is looking for:
-Images (photographs, photo-based work, mixed media, sketches, film/video stills, and new media documentation etc.)
-Text (artist statements, poetry, prose, short stories, etc.)
Here are the specifics:
Work can be submitted via e-mail. Send your submissions to funtionmag@gmail.com with "ZINE SUBMISSION" in the subject line.

Your submission must contain:
-No more than 5 images and/or text
-Images must be jpeg files, 300 DPI and no more than 3000 pixels at the longest side
-Image files must be labeled with your full name, and numbered. ie: firstname_lastname01.jpg, firstname_lastname02.jpg, etc.,
-Text submissions must be saved as a Word document, with a .doc extension
-Text submissions must be labeled with your full name, and numbered. ie: firstname_lanstname01.doc, etc.,
Your submission must include your name, program and year in your e-mail.
(Please note that the zine will be printed in black and white, but we
welcome both black and white and color images.)
